• Continence care   • Transfers   • Mobility       • Eating

In some situations, services may also include assistance with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) such as:
• Meal Preparation               • Light housekeeping
• Laundry                              • Necessity shopping

Self-Directed Care
Self-Directed Care is now available statewide in Idaho and is designed for Consumers who want to remain in charge of their personal care services and caregivers, rather than delegate the control to an agency. Under the self-directed care model, the Consumer has the primary responsibility and authority to hire, train, schedule, supervise, and even dismiss their caregivers. Caregivers can be qualified and trained family members, friends, or neighbors whom The Consumer has chosen to provide their care. The person receiving the care, not an agency, remains in charge of their care.

The Consumer directs their own care and services with guidance and support from a Fiscal Intermediary (FI) service organization which provides administrative supportive services.

Why Choose Consumer Direct Personal Care?
As an FI service organization Consumer Direct Personal Care (CDPC) has over ten year of specializing in self-directed care, making it easier to understand and implement. CDPC administers the most complex business-related aspects of the program, including processing the payroll and taxes for you. We have helped thousands of people set up and administer their own successful self-direct care program.
