Consumer Direct for Wisconsin offers two choices of services:

• Co-Employment Services-The member is the managing employer.  The Member hires, trains and manages staff and hires Consumer Direct to provide all employment and reporting services.   Consumer Direct is technically the employer and holds the Employer Identification Number.  Consumer Direct, your Fiscal Service provider, takes on most of the tasks and risks associated with being an employer (i.e. insurance, unemployment, workers compensation).

• Fiscal Employer Agent Services-The member manages employees and is the employer.  The Member holds the Employer Identification Number and takes on the employment risk and responsibility.  Consumer Direct (Fiscal service provider) is hired to do payroll, billing and reporting on employees.

  For both models, Consumer Direct is available to answer any employer related questions.  We also offer in-person enrollment meetings to make the process go smoothly.
